I knew Rambo before he broke in. He used to wear this poofy pink collar so i called him a girl for so long teasing him lol, being a only a ''little'' man didnt helpas he looked like a bitch lol, (Sorry Rambo). Was aways a very nice dog, as ou say a great temperament.

He broke in 18.2 at Glengarry but i cant remember his run home.
I was stoked when he got Monaro as his name cause theyre one of my fave cars.

I never dealt with his owner (at the time) only the person who had him as i helped out on the farm but i loved visiting all the dogs and spoiling them rotten... still do.

Kept a close eye on him when DMac had him but hard to keep up with dogs these days with so many of my own.

Hope he keeps on winning for yas.

I wonder how much I would get for a giveaway in a syndicate. probably the same as anydog I suppose.
I have got nothing against syndicate dogs. It's a good thing for the industry.
But I would like to know how half a dozen share holders can make a quid having spent squillions of dollars for their share.
Does anyone know of any syndicate dog with half a dozen share holders having won anything above their purchase price and sundries?

Tristar,

If you can find a dog that Darren McDonald has and wants to sell for $200 bucks, i'll have ten!!
You've obviously got no idea about greyhounds!!
Have you got any yourself???

With comments like that, I doubt it!!

Coops, how ya going?

As far as a syndicate goes, all shareholders are informed that their involvement is primarily for entertainment value!
Any prizemonies earned are a bonus!!

Most syndicate groups will state this on their web page or contract!

After reading that, you may think it's a waste of money! But if your dog gets a win, the feeling is unreal!!

Worth the investment really!

Oh mate don't get me wrong. It's just that people think that they can make a quid by having a share of a syndicate dog with more than a couple of share holders.
but if they are in it because they can have some fun then that got to be a good thing.
I know the feeling when my dog wins and I would like to see those syndicate people have the same feeling.
Like I said before I have nothing against syndicate dogs they are a good thing for the Industry.
What I would like to see is, a couple of share holders for a couple of dogs as a syndicate be encouraged by the syndicate people.

Coops,

Agree with you there!
Problem is, some people can't afford to buy into a chunk of a share!

In most of the syndicates I've been in, whatever prize monies the syndicate won, we'd pool it together and buy another dog.

Whether you own a 20% share or 5% share, you still own the dog!
Just isn't as financial rewarding!
