As you would probably know, your first win, whether it be super quick or slow, was a thrill regardless

You seem to know heaps bout the dogs mate!
You been following them for a while!
all is good mate

yes a win is a win regardless of time and a first win is possible the best of them all

i remember seeing this dog at his first quali, if my memory is correct darren had another in the qualis which people found strange as he dosent go qualis very often, i think the dog was okeonekobe or something similar

Ctb and mpr, don't get too precious about your dog!! if your expecting some pats on the back and comments on how good your dog is then you have probably come to the wrong place!! This site forever has people pumping up their own wheels and promoting their syndicates and it has run a bit thin over time!! Nick and Poizon are just calling it as they see it and lets face it they are not far off the mark!! The dog would have to improve around 12-16L to be a handy dog around S'dwn and the fact he can run a quick 300m or trial whatever solo means shit when it comes to racing!! This is NOT putting the dog down its just calling it as I see it, they can only go as well as their ability allows them to. I hope he wins more races for you.

lol. Sorry for opening up a can of worms, and I would agree if Darren had it all, he must have some form of ability, not to the mention the fact it never been sent out double figures in around 15 starts. The fact of the matter is, it has had numerous chances in disgustingly weak fields. How do I know? I have seen every start it has raced. Not to mention, I have backed it alot due to the above two facts I stated.

When it clocks its first win in a sub-par field in 30.81 on a NEW surface, which means if that was on the old it would of been around 31.10, some slight questions need to be raised.

As I also stated earlier, I do hope it goes on with it now that it has had a taste of success, and If it can run what u said at Shep, it will win a few Grade 5's here and there, which will be a thrill/profitable for connections.

With regards to dogs I have ownership/training with is just a litter that my old man and I whelped. Darling Desi as people know on this site is nothing special at all, after winning on debut at Warragul in 24.38, she got the shit knocked out of her at a trial and has never been the same again but she keeps trying and will win the odd grade 5 race or up the straight at Warragul. However, I know she is no star, but its nice to see her going around and trying hard.

Again, GL to the dog. It may go on from here and put it all together, I just hope that expectations are not too high and that it was I pointing out because that can lead to possible dissappointment, but also possibly jubilation

Learn to read mate.....
We never said the dog was a superstar, let alone any good!
We were just happy to see him get a win on the board!!

The main reason for posting a reply anyway was to try and get more people involved in this wonderful sport and feel the thrill of having a dog race......
Not to sell anything or state how good we are!!!!

So, if you like.... Keep having your say!!!
We're happy with him so far, that's all that matters!

Well done on Rambo's win, glad to see him finally get up.

Darren got him cause he broke in really fast at glengarry. He just doesnt have that brilliant early pace, nor the stamina at the end of a 500m race but when left alone he can run a decent time, good enough to pick up some wins anyways if left alone early.

All the best with Rambo hope he keeps on his winning way.

G'day Chook,

How ya going? So you know quite a bit about Rambo by the sounds of it???

He's a beautiful dog, great temperament too!
You must have been involved with Rambo before we got a hold of him??

Were you a previous owner???

Do you know what time he broke in at Glengarry??

You would also be surprised to know, although he missed the kick badly last start, his first sections are quite good!

Be great to hear back from you regarding Rambo!
Cheers Chook!
