Default Catch The Bunny Bunny Magic Syndicate

Catch The Bunny Syndicates is pleased to announce its second syndication.

The pup has been bought with the intention for it to run in New South Wales. It will be situated in Churchable (the heart of Queensland greyhound racing) which is roughly an hours drive from Brisbane until it has been broken in after which it will be sent to a trainer in NSW which will be chosen at the time depending on its ability.

The pup has been bought from Qld breeders Peter and Diane Arthur.

Peter and Diane have been breeding and training greyhounds for over 20 years.

They have produced greyhounds who have won in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Townsville.

One of the best known would have to be:

BEST SCORE
winner of 32 races
15 ipswich wins
16 townsville wins
1 albion park
(Surf Lorian-Wisteria Bale by Head Honcho)
2007 Townsville Greyhound of the Year
2007 Townsville Derby
2007 Townsville Young Guns

The pup will be reared until 13 months of age by none other than Troy Sharpe.

Troy has spent nearly 20 years in the industry and over the past few years has been making great waves on the greyhound scene. His results have earned him a lot of respect from fellow rearer's and trainers across Queensland.

Troy currently tops the Albion Park trainers Premiership for this year with an impressive strike rate.

Porky is out of a litter of only 3 pups and is a good size hence his name.

Made To Size x Miss Candy Cane

Whelped late March 2009 he is 6 weeks old.

Made To Size broke Surf Lorians track record at Albion Park and then went on to break his own record.

Miss Candy Cane is one of the few remaining West Cape Sire'd brood bitches.

Miss Candy Cane is part of the Pringle Breeding Line.

Miss Candy Cane is one of the last surviving brood bitches of arguably Australia's best ever dog and prominent sire West Cape. This is a rare opportunity not to be missed.

She won several races including wins in NSW and QLD.

She ran a best on night at the Gold Coast 457m.

She was retired early due to a niggling injury.

She raced at 29kg.

She has produced numerous city class winners including SHE'S REGAL (44 STARTS 13 WINS), POWER OF TEN (59 RUNS 6 WINS), MISS MAKATAM (18 RUNS 7 WINS), CANDY DESSA (4 STARTS 1 WIN), BOSS ENFORCER (3 STARTS 1 WIN). All five of these are still running and doing well. This pup should be no exception.

I have been following greyhounds for years but only over the last 18 months have i got into it seriously.

I have good connections in Qld and do all my business with Troy Sharpe who has just took over Jim Osbournes place.

I do talk to several people interstate but for the time being all our pups will be brought to Qld and reared there as he is doing a very good job. Then they will be sent to their specified state once we know how much promise the dog has shown.

I learn a lot of Troy as he has over 20 years in the game and run things past him before commiting.

I use the experience of people that are trusted in the sport until i have enough experience of my own.

Our sites in its infancy and we welcome any support and contact

ohhhh ok then fair enough so i take it this is all very new to you at this stage? the greyhound industry as a whole by your last post?

just looking at your website now, i seem a little confussed as there isnt much info as per race dogs or pups but as you say your in your infacy

i think for now ill stick to proven syndicators like greyhound syndication, track record is first class

but good luck with your adventure

no problem nick, they have had some great results i hope we are as lucky.

Warren will tell you alls you can do is pick a well bred pup send it to a good rearer and pick a top break in man then the rest is in the lap of the gods.

As well as the success some sites have had im sure there are some dogs that have not made the grade too.

Will be the same for anyone if there was a formula it would be easy lol.

cheers nick
