Default Wheres Pedro

I have seen a heap of great racers coming from Wheres Pedro of late, what do you think of him as a sire?

Good Luck Bents. Got plenty of time for this sire, wouldn't mind using him in the future. Getting full books hard to get a straw at the moment.......CLASS ACT!!!

I was speaking to Phil Pryor of head honcho fame. Phil advised me that there are only two greyhound sires he would use at the moment. Wheres Pedro and Bombastic Shiraz . Apparently their pups are great chasers and have a terrific temprament.

Both are very good sires! I would also include Black Enforcer they would be my pick of the best 3 sires atm.

Although i wouldn't mind a straw from Solve the Puzzle though.

It is amazing that Hallucinate is disregarded to a lesser degree by breeders than his brother Wheres Pedro. Breeders have expected Hallucinate to have produced better progeny than what we have seen due to the quantity and the quality of the bitches he has served.

I'll be using WP next year with one of our bitches. Top Sire and was going to be the best in the litter before injury got to him!

Ill be buying a WP bitch pup early next year, i think he is a great sire and would love a bitch with his bloodlines to use for breeding down the track.

Think personal opinions can come from what people have in their own backyard.
I like Hallucinates results better - better bitches or not, over 16 track records is almighty.

I had a litter of Hallucinates, bit over the top but all in all very nice pups, good killers, and a lot of willpower in their hearts. March 08 so still a long wait til they race but gotta be happy with what i got out of that.

I had a WP bitch, out of a bitch who had 12 wins including Vic City.
Worst bitch i had ever trained. She was a dirty dog, a vicious dog (over $500 in vet bills repairing what she did). Trialled her a few times and she didnt chase a yard, preferring to fight something else.

I will put that down to ba experience me thinks!!

The record WP is getting for himself as a sire is just brilliant. I personally think his fee of 2750 frozen only is a bit rich but nevertheless i hope he keeps throwing such good stock. But hope its more good chasers than the crap i copped.

Each sire throws good and bad pups seems like you may experienced the bad although its very hard to look past his stats at the moment, he is throwing some very good chasers.
