Default Experienced Punter

Hello all
I have been punting on the dogs for 30 years.
I have just noticed this forum which I hope is alive and well.
I am happy to communicate with greyhound punters.
Furthermore, if my knowledge and experience is of use to
any members, then I would be happy to assist.

Welcome to the forum, we are a relatively new community although growing quite quickly with over 400 members in our first 4 months.

We are always looking for people who can share their experience so that we can all help each other win some $$.

Would be much appreciated if you can post some tips up and share some winners

There will be some who think I have a barrow to push, but you would be entirely wrong. I have no commercial interests what so ever.
This site is excellent in giving the new punter 'angles' to consider when
punting on the dogs. I found it recently and have read at least 30 articles.

To get started go down the left hand side of the site main page.
There you will find a search box.

Type in greyhound handicapping and you will find about 100
articles on the subject.

I would be happy to discuss any findings that interest you.

I am not advocating that you purchase anything !!!!

Naturally enough, most of the 'posters' are trying to sell something, but
there are also some good ideas.

Personally, I have never bought any greyhound handicapping software
or systems, and I don't intend to start now !!

Thank you for the post but I must confess that I am more concerned with the 'process' if you like - of successful punting.

The Greyhound Breeding and Racing Database

This is an excellent site for those who would like to find out more about 'times'. Go to stadia up the top and find the track or tracks that most interest you. Here you will find all the best times run on that track in recent months/years. Not all tracks have all the times but it is a good starting point for the novice punter. For example, if I was purchasing a race dog or a pup and the sellers posted some times he had run I would use this site to give me a guide as to what these times mean.

Racing Form Guide - Horse, Harness, Greyhound - The TOTE

Here is a site which has form guides for most of the greyhound tracks around Australia. Recently, the Victorian meetings have been removed.
These can now be purchased if so desired.
However, the other ones are still available and free at this stage.
But for how long we do not know.

Melbourne form is available free (not Hotdog) on -

Thanks ezinearticles is a great site for information on different topics although most articles like you say are trying to sell something.

I would be very interested in discussing any greyhound handicapping found on this site if anybody cares to read them - otherwise I will not pursue this.
