Default Not Sure on Weight Classes?

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction in working out if a horse is going up or down in class from its previous race. From what i understand generally if a horse is going up in weight then it is going down in class and vice versa. But i think that is only generally. I know the sportsman shows it for sat metro races but is there something out there as easily accesible for weekday races?

One rough guide is to compare the prizemoney for the previous race with this race. The higher the prizemoney, the better the class (generally speaking). This info is available in a number of form guides on the net.
