FYI,
Countach is now in the very good(and experienced) hands of Lawrie Mayfield-Smith at Eagle Farm. He has had 3 starts, 1 at the Farm and 2 at the Gold Coast, all competetive and the most recent a 2.0L 4th. LMS sees as him as a city class miler. He should run next Wednesday at eagle Farm over 1600m and will be very strong winning chance. All the original owners have stayed in the horse, bar Nightingale, and we are having a great time racing our boy. There is weekly updates from the stable and owners can attend trackwork whenever they choose to.

Good Luck to you and others in the syndicate! It has taken a long time to get to this point (since original syndication) and your persistance will pay off. Its good to hear of something positive to come out of this fiasco. Hope the other horses get a chance like Countach and Stratana (who is doing very well - a city class horse), like Swimmininit, Perfect Image and Let's Intice for starters.

Countach, barrier 16 (at the moment), not the best barrier, hope it improves.

Countach(barrier 10, not 16-that was his ballot position) had his saddle slip after 200m and was eased up. Uninjured, just a shit situation you hope never happens to you. He'll go round again as soon as we find a suitable distance.

The Nightingale and Sormaz private training partnership with syndicated horses notched up something like 35 races for not one placing

Stratana under Paul Perry wins 3 of 5 and now Nightingale is crowing about the success, pity the other horses Nightingale syndicated and promised shareholders they would go to Paul Perry never got to his stables.
