Crook
here's a pic from the line last night with Kerrin on Destetude...........
Not exactly punching the horse out or using the whip is he lol Ieft hand with a tight grip on the reigns ( forcing the horses head left) the other halfway up it's neck, so surprise to see the horse turn it's head on the line and get beat.......are we in England? Woeful. With C.Brown, D.Nikolic, B.Shinn and K.McKevoy all riding in almost every metro race in Sydney no wonder we're running out of jocks to back with any confidence. Disclaimer : I backed Hurried Choice so made no difference to my pocket. VaD

Don't follow the Sydney horses much but I remember on Cup day last year he rode Neroli (who I was on) to victory and very nearly lost the win. He was suspended but I was expecting the protest to be upheld and in all honestly I though his manouver in that race was intentional. You don't have to know a thing about racing to see whats happening in this picture. What exactly did the stewards do? does anybody know?

Also I havent seen a replay of this race, but I reckon if Mcevoy had have ridden it hands and heels for the last 10m and made and effort to throw it over the line it would have won almost for sure looking at this photo. Pulling like that doesnt just turn its head it also brings it up remember. On monday I had a couple of bets at Randwick but that was the first time for me since I bet on OLIVER on No wine No Song in the Sydney Cup in autumn and this shows just why.
