Kennels and Runs As Per NSW Standard
Hi Guys & girls,
Just looking at getting into the fun of greyhound owner training and have noticed that recent changes now require you to get an inspection on your kennels to make sure they are up to standard. Was wondering if it was a requirment to have a run on your kennel or could you just have a 3x3m kennel with no run. i know thats how a few people done it years ago wondering is that still doable or is a requirment to have runs now. Only talking dogs aged and trained ready to run or are currently running. No puppies or anything that requires to much running. oh i live in nsw if that makes a difference i have noticed every state has there own board and stuff. Cheers Kra88y |

min standard for kennels is 1.2-1.5 meters long 1.2- 1.5 wide and 1.8 m high if you walk them twice daily they dont need a run as long as they have a raised bed like an inexpensive trampoline bed and have a fresh clean water suply and that it doesnt get too hot or cold in the kennel and has good air suply and must be lockable and secure
