OK Coops you asked for something, not very exciting but what is the latest thinking of greyhound people on this site regarding Nandoral (now off market), Nitrotain and whatever else, if anything is legal via a vet to give to bitches to keep them off season. I know of one site member who is definitely against it but wonder whether other members had acquired any new views over the last 12 months or so. A friend of mine had a bitch on Nandoral, she won 3 of her first 5 starts but then appeared to be trying to go on season but it seemed that the Nandoral suppressed the process. She then turned sour losing all enthusiasm for her work and general keeness. Just because two things correlate does not mean that it is "cause and effect" but I can tell you that he has recently taken her off the Nandoral, taking the attitude, "if she comes on season then so be it" but I can also tell you that her attitude has changed remarkably for the better ,she is enthusiastic again and keen to do what greyhounds are supposed to do. Any opinions?
