Default Best year ever

What do other greyhound member enthusiasts think is the best ever crop of dogs (relative to their respective times) that raced regularly in the same year. 1969 is my pick why?
Honestly, everyone of the following dogs and bitches was a fabulous greyhound. In some ways it is only a shame that their records were not quite as good as they might have been as they were racing against each other or avoiding each other:

Zoom Top, Benjamin John, Millimsimbi, Red Zero, Pied Rebel, Amerigo Lady, Plunder Road, Miriam Miss, Main Issue, Busy's Charm, Bunyip Bint, Rokoko, Silent Retreat, Sammie Sparrow, Landena, Gala's Dream, The Smoother, Top Kabana and Silent Ring.

These dogs were stars. I started to say, "I don't think we will ever see such a crop again" but then I asked the question "why not?" and I did not come up readily with an answer, so I will just leave it at "they were all stars". Another interesting point is the dominance of NSW dogs in 1969. Times have certainly changed since then. This is when the greyhound industry was probably at its all-time peak in terms of interest

Regard my last sentence, it was not the peak of activity in the greyhound industry but maybe the year of greatest excitement which stimulated very much increased activity in the forthcoming years of the greyhound industry (litter registrations rocketed up during the first half or more of the 1970s).
