Default DR HANIF (X Surgeon - Hanify's Impact)

It is not going to happen but two things would tend to entice me to put Surgeon over a bitch: (1) obviously he is fast, very fast but most importantly, (2) I could get my wife interested by assigning her the task of coming up with the racing names. She watches or has watched in the past, most of the medical/hospital shows on TV e.g. All Saints, Grey's Anatomy, House, Medical Emergency, Surgery Saved My Life, ER, General Hospital, Ben Casey, Dr Kildare, MASH etc etc etc. I don't watch them so I don't know the characters and different types of operations but there must be lots of topical names etc that would offer greyhound naming opportunities. I shouldn't pick on her as she was very good 20 years or so ago when she bottle fed those 7 African Zulu pups (caesarian birth). It was unfortunate they couldn't "run out of sight on a dark night". Hey, hold on I have just had a "brain wave". I reckon that Jason Thompson would be only too pleased to put "Hanify's Impact" to "Surgeon". What about a dog called DOCTOR HANIF.

Snowy and Morgan, I am glad that someone knew who Dr Hanif is and that he is in deed a famous Indian doctor who I think is back in Australia. Australian authorities sent Dr Hanif back to India and I am sure that there are some who would like to send Surgeon to India preferable to be put into a curry. I am only joking of course and only wish both Darren McDonald and Jason Thompson continued success. Darren McD I have never even spoken to but I admire his success as a trainer very much. I wish I could have the benefit of learning from someone like him. He must be a fantastic trainer. Jason Thompson, I have spoken to only once, in my former work capacity. I spoke to many people in the greyhound industry during that time and albeit only a short conversation, Jason T was certainly the most personable out of all of them. Not only is he a great trainer but I was very impressed with him as a person.
