hopefully these links will help you a bit, there is usually some trainers out there willing to give you hand, especially if you advertise on here to do some kennel work gain a bit more experience, go out to the tracks and have a chat with a few, good luck

you can always get a dog and get someone to train it for you until you get some experience behind you

Kyleigh is spot on. Best way is to buy your own racer and have someone train it. All good and well to get the hands on experience but i feel theres stacks more incentive if you actually own a dog. Plenty of trainers in SA who should help out.

Its not the training thats the hard part of dogs, theres just a million more things to em which makes the over all job tough. But #1 rule is your concern must always be for the wellbeing and safety of the dog. So best thing is to get experience, as once u have the general knowledge you should be able to go from there and with confidence.
