like his good mate vintage octane, was a great night to lay both matra lad and vintage octane.....i love them both i think 1 on 1 there 2 of the fastest dogs in the land...but last night the 3 was always going to lead vintage octane as he done at the meadows 6-8 weeks ago, crossed from the 8 vintage octane had the 5 and sat on his ass all the way and couldnt run him down, saying that sirroco hero isnt a super strong 700m as we seen last night..

mantra lad from box 5 should of been $3 was never going to get the favors last night and really from box 5 he needed every little thing to go his own way. lay lay lay all the way and i cleaned up...pity perth is so far behind, not alot of betfair action laying him...

pure octane, token prince??? im seeing a little conection

pure octane will throw super fast dogs, but plenty will have pea hearts

I see your thinking with Mantra Lad Nickg. He won some good races from box 5 last year but from memory all of those were in staying races. In all of his recent wins in Perth where he did run great times he was slow out on both occasions he needed to be real lucky to get a clear run up on the fence last Saturday night. I also thought he was worth laying at those very short odds. He appeared to give it away when he avoided being squeezed into the rail and show nothing in the straight. Assuming no injury, surely he had the petrol to pass a dog or two but no he did nothin. BUT if connections want to get rid of him he can have my bed I will sleep on the floor. The little woman can please herself. I dont know much about Vintage Octane except that he has won a bit of money and is owned by one or more well known people.
