My trainer, rears pups on his farm. Always has sensational looking pups with plenty of leg underneath them. I've been up there a few time while his feeding. I have observed -
Pre Breakfast - Vitamins & very fresh Minced Mutton Breakfast - Cooked in a stew Rice, vegies, Mutton, vitamins Lunch - Puppy Kibble, Beef mince, with water. Tea - As lunch or breakfast Other things fed pasta, chicken necks, bones. And plenty of vitamins. Pretty secretive about which vitamins they use. They have a 90 sq meter galloping paddock, which the pups love to burn around in. They also have different size yards for different ages. So it's good feeding, and plenty of galloping. |

To answer the dog is bigger question. Most dogs are bigger than bitches, as long as the bitch is getting her fair share at the feed bowl. And the dog doesn't bash her around I wouldn't be to worried. Remember when there pups to keep that little bit extra weight on them. There pups not racing greyhounds.

my girl is now 6 months old and she has been getting whatever goes from the shop, normally its the meat that doesnt meet a 1 kg package, so she has been eating beef, chicken, roo, necks some liver and heart occasionaly and right now she is on advance puppy large breed kibble with her meat. I would make sure you keep up some fat in her diet, for which I recommend chicken mince, if you can get to a good pet food store see if you can get some chicken and beef or chicken and roo mince, and possibly a supercoat puppy kibble or similar.
Chicken necks are great also and they love them

yeah I really advise against babying them too much and definitely giving them a variety otherwise they can become fussy and when you think about it they probably would eat a lot worse when in the wild.
