I have seen mixed reaction to capstars so I dont think that is the option, and I am not sure but i think its a vet only product.
From what Nichole has told me Advantage is apparently the best product, although quite expensive with Frontline being up there aswell. However if the Advocate is working for you and is good value for money then there may be no need to change.

Flea Control
Even though we own a few greyhounds and don't train, we have 2 Labs that haven't seen a flea since my trainer told me to use a product called Nuprid. Brilliant stuff. We use it every 6 weeks and love it.

There is a product called Confidor that you buy from Bunnings Hardware , it has the same ingredient as Advantage at a fraction of the price .
It comes in a small tube which contains 8ml , and you mix 1ml with 2ml water and apply to dogs neck , I have been using it for about a year now and have found it very good. As far as Frontline goes it is useless and a mile over priced. Last edited by Roger O'Neill; 11-03-2008 at 08:21 PM. |
