When u get home after a run have some ice ready to rock n roll and ice it and the other side for 5-10 minutes. (do both as some dogs get a mindset of one being a bad wrist and can mentally make them think its sore all the time n fake it - had this happen spent 3 months trying to fix a problem that was in the dogs head not his wrist).
Do this even after slipping the dog up a straight. Should help to draw any soreness out. If you have a laser, try using it between runs, morning after the icing, say 12 hrs later. If dont have a laser, definitely give the bone radiol a hit. I have used many many things like it and found it to be the best along with Activex altho it is hard to get hold of.
Icing should help tho for sure.
Every dog different n they get their regular sore spots. Just need to make sure there isnt anything alternate causing referred pain, if not then just maintenance.
Being in the londonderry region, book into Gary Barnsely near Bringelly, he will make sure the dogs back is 100% as their backs can cause referred pain almost anywhere!
