You really know how to take the piss out of some one Nick.

Murray's alright, he's a bit slow but he's learning about what life is about. I'm starting to get used to him coz he's so straight forward and caring and loving. Oh Murray, what are we going to do with you mate. Do you want a chocolate ice cream mate.

Hey Nick mate, don't get him mad or he'll leave you out of his will. He's headed for the big time with his bought tips. he made a killing last weekend with 8 winners out of ten bets, and all payed big dividends.

PS I love ya Murray. XXX

you call me a shit kicker lol a pound of meat hey with chicken, again you showed how great you are, you feed a race dog chicken???? wow your one of the best arnt you, short cut cheap meat shit kicker...worry about your punting site dickhead, you couldnt tip winners and you have no clue about greyhounds so crawl back into your hole you maggot
No need for insults here please, we get enough of that on that other forum lol

A lot of Victorian trainers feed either beef or chicken (mostly chicken as it's cheaper) whereas in country NSW you'd find most feed either beef (as it's easily accessible) or roo (which is more common). Both these meat are around the $4.50 per kg so are not cheap. Roo is more expensive than beef.

You cannot go around telling people that if they feed chicken or roo or horse, that they are shit trainers, because who do you think you are to say that? Many top trainers in my area feed roo and they've had more winners you could poke a stick at. So they must be doing something right.

Personally I prefer beef but after being scared once by a bad batch (all dogs got scours, needed veterinary treatment to recover) a few months ago, I was recommended to switch to roo meat for the time being. Even though it's $4.50 per kg, I am now happy as the dogs seem to be thriving on it, running more consistently and no problems with their poo's either. They also maintain their weight very well.

To add fat to the lean roo meat, sometimes I buy fresh chicken mince to mix with the roo at a ratio of 70% roo 30% chicken every few days for a change. Or either buy a block of lard and put a couple of spoonfuls on top of their feed, the dogs go absolutely crazy as lard is one of their favourite treat.

I know Graeme Bates feed chicken and bread only, which is surprising as his dogs are performing so well. I suppose he adds the necessary vitamins (iron etc) to the feed to make up for the shortfalls of feeding white meat.

LOL YOUR HILARIOUS NICK! Really got me in a good mood reading this this morning

I really feel sorry for you, lol so naive and immature.
First of all of course you feed chicken mince! Most trainers do. Secondly of course you feed it to rearing pups is good, they need a bit of fat in them.
Horse meat is good meat and is the base ingredient for alot of trainers. But sorry we must all be wrong because some no hoper on a racing forum says its wrong. LOL. Who are you to decide whats wrong and right?
The fact that you had to revert to abusive language shows your complete immaturity and lack to learn new things thats why you will never be a respected trainer. Swallow your pride and take on what other people say and dont shoot them down because odds are they are doing better than you.
Hope you change your tune for your sake.

Come on, grow up nick. Your way isn't the only way. All this abuse over him using horse meat (Which half the trainers out there use). Dont be so aggressive just because its online.

Nick and Murray, I am not a qualified councellor and it may be a bit presumptious of me to conclude that this is a case of "too much damage" has occurred. Realistically, I think the two of you should aim for displaying mutual respect for each other even if you do not really mean it. I think a second opinion from Dr Coops would be advisable.
