What a shame Sean. Anyway mate you tried and thats the main thing. Don't give up having dogs mate, you never know when you will get a good one.
Just take me for example. I persevered with Sinka for over twelve months trying to get him sound so I can race him. I have had two wins and a couple of placings with him in that period of time. This year I've had 3 starts with him as he keeps breaking down or getting sick. Every time I get him back on track and ready to nominate him for a race, he breaks down again. I trialled him Yesterday up the straight and he pulled up with a torn back muscle. Thats another 3 to 4 weeks off. My Patience is wearing a bit thin at the moment, but I gotta keep trying even if he is 4 years old.

thanks for the words of encouragement coops. I have another dog at the moment that is trialling extremly well only had him two weeks and already told he should win some races for me. i checked his times against those that were winning on the weekend and he seems to be keeping pace with them so fingers crossed.

Cheers Sean.

I surley hope he is a good one Sean.
I took my dog Sinka to the vets this morning to see how serious the tear in his back leg muscle was. Sinka is now in heaven. Life really sucks mate.

no good mate, sorry to hear your loss.

things like this are only to test you, im sure you have a couple of dogs that will be firing on the race track soon enough if you don't already have one or two on the track.

How many doogs you got coops?

I had two Sean, no I got only one. She has just been broken in a week ago. Now there is a lot of work to be done getting her ready to race, if she's good enough. Will name her this week.

No names back yet Sean.

Has a fractured Fibular bone at the moment. She came back from the breakers with it.
No big concern though, vet says it's common and they do heal without any problems. So can't do much with her for 6 weeks at this stage. Wasn't going to do anything with her for that period anyway, so all's good mate.
