Default Paul Ambrosoli

Found this on AGF about Paul and Pat Ambrosoli's accident on wednesday night.

Folks,
Hear is the news on Paul and Pat.

PA did have an accident en route to Bulli. He is OK, suffering mainly from some shock. He probably has bruising but isn't admitting to any pain as his main concerns were for Pat.
Pat suffered a broken nose, some breaks to small bones around her cheek and eye. She will be assessed as to whether she needs surgery once the surgeons see her after the swelling to the face subsides. Paul tells me she is in good spirits despite all this. Hopefully, depending on her injuries, may be released from hospital early next week.
Pauls car is expected to be a write off.

I sincerely thank Nowra greyhound club and Glen for his support in a tough time in organising steve to do the last few to allow terry to get to Bulli as i was too far away. Steve White did a sensational job calling the last two. He does their non tabs but stepped up and called SKY,2KY and on track and didn't miss a beat. Les Mellowship jumped in and did the first whilst Terry was heading to Bulli and to Terry who called 18 fully covered races in the span of 6 1/2 hours, well done.

Paul has decided to do wenty tomorrow but wont be there on Monday so you all have to put up with me.

Paul is appreciative of the many people who have expressed their thoughts for himself and Pat, so thanks Greyhound racing, we look out for our own. He is the king of callers and hopefully he will be back within the next week doing what he does best.

Cheers
Fred

I had a chat with him this morning and it seems instead of merging onto the freeway from an off ramp, the car in front slammed the brakes on and paul couldnt stop quick enough. Pat has a fractured eye socket and brusied badly like Fred has stated.
Was nice of Fred to let us all know what was going on.... heard it at Nowra as Terry Hulm left really quickly so glad he and his mrs will recover ~ PA might be getting forgetful and makes a few mistakes these days but at the end of the day he is the pinnacle of greyhound calling.

I was at Bulli dogs when I heard that paul and pat were in a car accident. Terry Hulm told oncourse patrons details of what had happen. Great people Paul and Pat Ambrosoli and hope for speedy recovery for both especially his wife pat. Paul is very courageous calling tonight at wenty park after traumatic experience. Great Job Terry to call so many races at two different tracks and all the other people involved. I thank fred for this information.
