Default Spud back from kilcoyne

Got spud the pup back from kilcoyne yesterday a bit down in weight but was told to expect that robert the owner gave me some very stern advice on what to do next for which i am very gratefull and he stressed the point on not to take the the pup to goulburn or bulli tracks are too big and he said it will mentaly ruin him but to hand slip twice at thirlmere then out of boxes then give him a month off bring him back to dapto and repeat what i did at thirlmere plus some starting short and work up which i will do to the letter but i need to know if you can put pups up straight slipping tracks no lure for fitness runs did not ask kilcoyne as i had left and forgot so can any one advise if free running up straight tracks will do any harm regards billy bones.
