Maybe The Director Should explain to the general public that there is aconflict of interest with the selection panel .Surely the applicants deserve an interview.The Chief Steward for Harness has ayoung family .He cannot work four meetings a week .None of the stewards can read a race.Industry will still suffer .Appoint one of the applicants with haste.DB

well I must say thus far, I am actually impressed with our now chairman, he has taken the role on with dignity and is actually on the same level now....the biggest thing that inpressed me was in a recent conversation with him..talking about the industry he said WE as an industry, not them not you but WE, that to me means a hell of alot he feels part of our industry and has actually been ofended over certain things of late of people trying to bring our industry into disrupute...still early days, but that for me is a major hurdle....
