GAP Facelift
The redevelopment of the Greyhound Adoption Program’s (GAP) property in Seymour is underway.
Greyhound Racing Victoria is investing around $1.1Million into the property, of which almost half is being funded by the government’s Racing Industry Development Program.
“We are very excited”, GAP Manager Larissa Darragh said.
“A new administration building is currently being built, as well as a new kennel block.”
“The administration building will feature an audio visual room which will be used for educational purposes such as school excursions”.
“Also, as part of the administration building, we’ll have new decking for people to walk on to. This will overlook a parade area where people can view their greyhounds when they come to pick them up for adoption”.
The redevelopment is due to be completed in June.
