Launching Pad thought

A race which is really showcasing a lot of the upcoming young stars in dog racing, the most impressive of last week's heat winners Arsonist, has everything gone its way. It was has ended up with the red and on top of that, the very slow early. Enry Walt drawn on its outside. With Iceman Raik in box 3, Enry Walt will definitely not get any dream runs tonight and I completely rule out the $3 second elect in this race.

Arsonist is the clear odds on favorite, but to me its no value. The pick which stands out and screams at me as definitely one to be on, is Wild Haley. The way she races, box 8 will suit for certain. Thrown in the deep end when skittled in a heat of the Laurels where Queen Lauryn when a ridiculous 29.40?ish or 29.60, cant remember. Was quick tho. This dog's win last, albeit in a far slower time then a few runners proved to me this dog can run in the city. She is fixed odds at $8.50 at the moment, and that is overs. Back her each way on the night, and I do not think you can go wrong.

Mate Ill cheer it home for you, for me a no bet race, too many ifs and buts. The thing I am worried about with wild haley is her tendencies to dwell at start lately, but the 8 will suit. Arsonist could not have been more impressive, although margain was flattering with the rest of the field playing with each other, they may have lost sight of the bunny. I wouldnt rule out enry walt but I dont think he was that impressive in heats, had all go its way. Really hard race to me, arsonist probably wins if it backs up, but we all know young dogs can look like champs one week then go right off. Good luck

i like enry walt for one simple reason, he will be on the rail behind the leader which on figure will be arsonist..she is a very smart bitch but has yet to be pressured in any way, 3 races have been solo trials almost.....i think they will fight the race out, but a multiple group 1 finalist against younger dogs who havent been proven at top level, the fact he will go around $3.50-$4 is good enough for me...he also isnt that bad of a begginer, he did run 5.10 at the meadows a few runs back and that would have him either leading or just off in this race...the roughy is the 6 messi, hasnt done a thing wrong and if he drew a better box id say he would really pressure the other 2 but will need luck from 5, wild haley is the only other dog i can see winning the race

ill put it this way if the 1 leads easy, well enry walt will want to be very good to run it down...if the 3 mr ice man jumps like it has been it will pressure the 1 for along way and enry walt will be sitting pretty behind them and with room i think he will come home over the top

Tough Race to pick. The 1 and 2 dog will be hard to beat. I will stick with 2 to win from 1 -3.

I couldn't of been happier when the 2 got the dream run, through it away by running wide on the turn but the winner is a very profesonal race bitch! form will be solid from the race, you'd say the winner had a stangle hold on the laurels and the 3rd and 4th dog where also very good and will devolpe into handy race dogs! take nothing away from the winner tho, just too good
