Whelping Box
 

I'm chasing a decent whelping box, if anyone knows of one, possibly two(one for a mate) that is for sale in the Melb-Easten Vic area please let me know!!

well i have a massive whelping box that i made 7 foot x 4 foot out of waterproofed mdf risen off the ground 3 inches there easy to make it cost me 30 bucks to make

if you get 2 palets from somewhere im lucky cause the timber mills throw them out when there used, you then get a peice of mdf floorboard if there is a wood mill where you live they normaly have tons of it if there is chips on the boards they just give them away most slaces throw out 2 tons of floorboard a day because it could have a mark or chip on it
place both palets on the floor the mdf on top and cut to size screw the floor on make up some sides drill some drainage holes and coat in an acrilic laqour than get a bail of straw spread that inside than pretty soon your brood will jump in and never wanna get out

i made mine 4 years agp done pleanty of litters and its still in great nik

its amazing what factorys throw out

could even make a bussiness out of it get all the stuff factorys throw out and make boxes and beds with them and sell them you make 100 percent profit that way lol
