Greyhound for Tassie
 

Hi all does anyone know or have a greyhound they are looking to sell in Tasmania i am not looking to spend a heap just a dog that might pick up a couple of cheques and have a bit of fun with it with my wife and kids

Hi jr44, Do you read the Greyhound Tabform newspaper? There is a dog for sale in that called Stylish Lucky that is already in Tassie, if you can pick it up cheap enough you should have some fun with it.

no good with stylish lucky m8 he wanted 1600 for it my m8 said its to much for that so still looking

there is a few on grehound data around the 2k mark, perfomed greyhounds...no superstars,but they run 500m which you need in tassie might be worth having a look there at a couple of them

ill have a play and post o acouple of the dogs names for you to look at

ok m8 i will have a look at that site does it say where the dogs are based and that just easier if its already here save me having to transport it

star ali 2.5k oct 06 whelping 7 starts 1 win 2 seconds ( looks to have had a few injurys but has been in the market its only 2 runs this year)

Cyan Shiraz $2.2k april 07 whelping 8 starts 2 wins 1 second ( runs 500m)


should be able to pick any of them up for around 2k and have some fun in tassie most likely withthe 1st and 3rd one as there both still young

2 are nsw and the other vic, your prob better buying from melb or syd as there better class of dogs then what you will find it tassie, plus with the tassie grading system they come in nicely then a dog who is all ready racing there and won races, unless its a young dog for juvi races it would be a better option to try buy from another state
