Im also after that info.

thanks

Most dogs break in around the 20.30-20.40 mark so i am told but being in NSW i cannot be 110% sure of that.

Stuart who has them, he is keeping the other 4 in the litter - So is selling the slowest 4 to just cover some of the costs - as you can imagine bringing up 9 pups (one unfortunately died due to snake bite) was costly.

hachiman 09-12-2008 10:18 PM

Where in vic are they located?

TheChook 09-13-2008 12:57 AM

Werribee, Not far from Geelong

Morgan 09-17-2008 01:09 PM

Wish i had the cash wouldn't mind buying one of them.

TheChook 09-17-2008 02:45 PM

For whats its worth my top pick would be Macca followed by Bell, then Ace, then Niki.

But any queries give Stuart a buzz - He will be able to answers any questions yas have :)

Morgan 09-17-2008 02:51 PM

I quite liked Bell, first splits arent good but could be due to lack of box work.

nickg 09-17-2008 08:38 PM

is this allan marrums track in lara we are talking about???

Kezwick85 09-18-2008 01:45 AM

Just looking at times Ace looks like a good choice..But Jaimes thoughts way outweight mine haha

TheChook 09-23-2008 10:31 AM

Yep NickG.

Lol Kez, Ace was alway my first pick because i unfortunately lost Boomas sister, who i called Ace, so was hoping this one would be a little champ like my girl was.

I know Ace is definitely sold - but will have to get an update on the others.

hachiman 09-23-2008 08:50 PM

Hi Chook,

Only Nikki left. I picked up Macca and Bella on the weekend :)

jazza 10-11-2008 03:53 PM

Morgan 10-11-2008 05:29 PM

Great to see members from the forum buying the dogs very cheap prices keep us updated on their progress!

hachiman 10-11-2008 10:37 PM

Hey Jazza, you must be the one in Tas? I got to see Ace when I picked up my two ;P I was tempted to "pinch" him. He is a very nice looking dog - hope he does very well for you.

Mine are still a month or more off trialling, they've just been slipping and mucking around :p. Bell is possibly the more ready of the two (on looks and fitness) but she's the slower starter so she needs more work.

jazza 10-12-2008 12:11 AM

Jazza and Hachiman, I was wondering whether those November Fury-Misty Miss break-ins you bought a while back have got to the track yet and if so I hope they have had some success. At the face value of their break-in times (very close to 20.0) at Lara they seemed to me, to be very cheap at $500 - very good buys. At the time it made me feel very anxious that one in which I have a keen interest was not quite as good as we thought. That dog's litter brother and sister were subsequent to that initially unable to break 20.4 at Lara but fortunately have "kicked on". I am asking only as a matter of interest and if you do not feel it appropriate to respond, then "no worries".

YUTHAPINABOY 01-21-2009 03:06 PM

Since my post of yesterday re the November Fury-Misty Miss youngsters, I noticed in the Traralgon fields for this Friday 23 Jan, a couple of the litter in the maiden final. Both, Piper's Pal and Pay the Piper, won their qualies in 17.37 which compared not too bad to the 17.26 BOD. Good luck to Stuart Divers (a mate of Chook) and who I think is Forum member, "Celticbuoy". I hope Jazza's and Hachiman's are coming along well.

hachiman 01-22-2009 09:22 PM

I replied to your question but it must have disappeared. "Bel" debuted last Sat at Shep and ran a nice third. "Mac" is the faster of my two however he is battling with Epilepsy and some side effects of medication. It's now not looking likely that he will ever race which is a massive shame.

YUTHAPINABOY 01-23-2009 12:32 AM

Hachiman, I was almost finished typing you a follow up message when my fingers got on to the wrong keys and I lost it, well I think I lost it, so sorry if two messages come through. Here we go again. Heavens, I am sorry to hear about Mac. I have not heard before of a dog with epilepsy but I suppose why not and here is an actual case. I and I am sure the rest of the members hope that he comes good for you and does very well. It would be a remarkable story. It was good to learn that Bel ran a promising 3rd for you, hopefully she will not only pick up a few races for you but will turn out to be a real surprise packet. Good luck that's for sure.

jazza 02-14-2009 08:15 PM

hi yuthapinaboy ace is going ok we have to give him a couple of weeks of as he tore a monky musell but he s going ok now his race name is billy blayne will run in the next mounth or so had a little trouble for a while there could not get him to come out of boxers dont know what he got in to his head but with a bit of work we got him going again going better now but like all dogs he ll get better with time

YUTHAPINABOY 02-14-2009 11:47 PM

Thanks Jazza. Do you know what, it was only this afternoon that I thought to myself "I wonder how those November Fury - Misty Miss youngsters are going". In fact, using a combination of 'greyhound-data.com' and 'grv.org.au' I did this afternoon look into what appeared to be the whole litter including seeing the name 'Billy Blayne'. There were at least a couple who were listed on 'greyhound-data' but inexplicably not on 'grv'. Not sure why this is the case. Surely the GRV site is not incorrect. Maybe I typed in something incorrect. Anyway most importantly I hope your bloke comes good with his box manners. It is so important. Maybe you could organise El Galo to be his mentor. Good luck Jazza. I did see where one of the litter won at Cranbourne. It was either Piper's Pal or Pay the Piper.

celticbhoy 03-05-2009 12:28 PM

it was piper's pal that 1 at cranbourne, then his next start he split his webbing, they havent had a fair go with clear runs
but that will come when they step up in distance, and race experience
im glad to see bronze star doing well 4 herself even with her luckless runs she keeps trying her heart out and also typhoon fury running a good 2nd
last week at healsville he will improve on that run,
ive heard about billy blayne,so he should do very well over there in tassie,
there is 3 more here that i have, and are trialling very well and winning half fields,
so it all looks good,
cheers

Any well bred bitches that couldn't quite make it to City standard, and the trainers are looking for a new owner; Don't hesitate to give me a PM. Please, I don't want to be paying millions for a dog not quite good enough. Will not race it because don't have the time and probably could be a waste of time; But we will take good care of it as a family pet no question, and may think about breeding it in a few years time (who knows?).
