Bargain Pups for Sale

Most pups in the litter have been sold before birth, however there's still a couple left for sale. This is the first time they have been advertised, as I had no need to with early buyers very keen to secure the damline which have been noted for aggressive chasing instincts and city ability.

by Addis Boy x Venus Express (dam's first litter)

Greyhound Testmating

Check out the 3x3 Malawi's Prince/True Temptation ;-)

They are beautiful outgoing fiesty pups, a very even litter, no standouts in them.

Below is a video of the pups when they were 4 weeks old

These pups are now 7 weeks old and have been vaccinated, will be ear branded in 2 weeks time and have their next needles at 12 weeks old, in which they will then be available for pickup.

PM for more details.

bundy 06-05-2008 02:40 AM

OMG Are they the little ones we saw when we picked up ya doggies?!?!

lilyflowerandroxy 06-05-2008 09:14 AM

lol bundy, yup

1 black dog in the above pic now sold, pending payment. I will leave the ad up for a couple more days but it will be removed as this is only a 1 week offer, price will go up slightly once the pups are fully vaccinated at 12 weeks old.

Terrance 06-05-2008 05:12 PM

so cute when they are little, so chubby!

lilyflowerandroxy 06-27-2008 04:56 PM

Can't believe how quickly my pups sold, and not even 11 weeks old til Monday! ;-)

Only got two left out of 8.

jazza 06-29-2008 09:29 PM

thats good you sold them fast they are good looking pups what did they sell for

lilyflowerandroxy 06-30-2008 09:52 AM

$1500.

lilyflowerandroxy 07-09-2008 09:26 PM

Have decided after looking at my budget for this year lol that I will sell one of my two pups, a BLUE BITCH... awwwwww she's a cheeky devil that delights in pulling people's pants down ;-) and loves charging around the yard leading the others on a merry chase!

$800 outright sale OR $1600 reared to 12 months. (a saving of $450, as rearing normally cost $140 per month here, and with 9 months still to go, would have cost you $1250 to rear her to 12 months, so $1250 plus $800 purchase price would have seen the total amount at $2050.)

PM if interested. On the Bunny has bought one of the black pups from this litter and Im sure he'll tell you he is happy with him ;-)

that's the blue bitch in the middle lol all the others went around the back.

the photo was taken a few weeks ago, so they are much bigger now and in a bigger yard.

very happy with him Lilly. Great looking pups and very well looked after and loved where they are. would recommend anyone getting this last bitch as i would if i didnt go on a buying frenzy in the last month. Lilly will keep you totally up to date with how she is going with photo, email and txt and dosen't mind answering the odd question either. eh!

Aussiedogman 07-18-2008 10:02 PM

They look beautiful. Very nice dog. Where are you based?

lilyflowerandroxy 07-19-2008 11:18 PM

In far western Victoria. Im originally from NSW but moved just recently down south! ;-D

Aussiedogman 07-20-2008 01:49 AM

did you find a home for your pups?

lilyflowerandroxy 07-20-2008 09:06 AM

I am rearing them all for their new owners, just have two pups of my own left, a blue dog and a blue bitch. I've decided to hang onto the boy so the blue bitch is still available for sale.

Deposit and terms can be arranged as well.

cheers

lilyflowerandroxy 08-05-2008 11:33 AM

Magnificent blue bitch, big for her age, thick wrists, outgoing fiesty keen attitude.

$800 ONO

REST OF LITTER sold at 2mths old at $1500 each. This left just the blue bitch and a blue dog which were my picks.

In this photo, the blue pup is pictured kissing her auntie with her mum looking on. ;-)

Breeder's pick, unfortunately must sell.

All sensible offers considered.

These pups are really worth far more than their selling price so you will be picking up the bargain of the year with this one... FUTURE CITY WINNER!

Reared on great tucker and plenty of galloping, fresh beef diet only and top quality kibble (Advance, Supercoat Puppy etc) plus vitamins, wormed regular and yard cleaned twice daily. Galloped once daily on 5 acres grassed paddock.

We are a very small family run farm that only rears no more than 5 pups at any time, so this ensures that unlike big commerical farms, our pups receive the best of everything in feed and attention.

Rearing available at $35pw

Morgan 08-05-2008 11:48 AM

Anyone interested in going 1/4 in buying the bitch?

lilyflowerandroxy 08-05-2008 01:31 PM

Well Im willing to go in that 1/4 share, so if 3 people put in $200 each, that would be fine by me ;-)

As long as she can be reared here with her littermates, that way I'd know she would be getting the best out of everything, as I would have a vested interest.

Morgan 08-05-2008 01:32 PM

I will buy half so if anyone wants to go in with $200 consider her sold :)

lilyflowerandroxy 08-05-2008 01:38 PM

Great! I've just texted OntheBunny, who bought the black dog, hopefully he'll go in 1 share too!

Morgan 08-05-2008 02:28 PM

Sold!

micase 08-05-2008 05:34 PM

was there still a 1/4 share in this dog available?

Morgan 08-05-2008 10:12 PM

Nope the dog has been sold.

Sorry micase, where you interested?

bundy 08-05-2008 10:19 PM

I have pups ;) hehehe

micase 08-05-2008 10:57 PM

Well i'm interesting in purchasing a share in a greyhound in the next few years (i'm only 18), but i'm planning to go to Europe in my holidays soon, so it'd be wise for me to save for that. But this forum looks very helpful when i decide i want to purchase a pup or a already racing dog.

bundy 08-05-2008 11:10 PM

Well... have a great time overseas and the more spending money the better I say!

The more you spend the better the trip!

micase 08-06-2008 12:20 AM

Thanks guys, just wondering as well, me and a few mates are keen to get a greyhound, but we aren't really in a position to spend way too much money, would it be better to buy a slightly raced dog, one that is relatively untried but shows some promise, or a pup.

myanimall 08-08-2008 09:50 AM

get in one of bundys syndicates I would think, if you have enough of yous getting in it, you will practically buy it out anyway.

Use bundys knowledge and hard work to your advantage ;)

If you really want to buy it and do it yourself then I would say slightly raced showing ability depending on where you want it to run. Pups are a very big gamble basically.

Totally agree, send bundy a PM or e-mail and get started in this great sport :)

Just noticed that Rilo Gear is lining up for his 100th start tonight at Richmond. This marvellouslly consistent sprinter has been a credit to his owner/trainer, as he has managed to keep racing at FFA level despite his advanced years.

A note of interest, his granddam Maria McPherson is a sister to Donington Flyer (who was a middle distance TAB winning stayer). Donington Flyer is the great granddam of this litter of Addis Boy x Venus Express pups ;-)

Lets hope our pup has as good a career as Rilo Gear.

Outright sale $800 each or $1600each reared to 12 months.

Here is a recent video of them taken a couple of weeks ago:
