Hello Westtiger. Re the "bargain at $1000", the dam Black Science won only 4 races from 20 starts according to GRV site. Was Black Science from an outstanding litter and are her extended bloodlines impeccable. My knowledge of breeding is about 5% of what it was in years gone by.

Black Science won 5, three @ Cessnock. She won her maiden in 26:15 BON By 7 lengths, her other times were 26:25, 26:45. She also won up the straight at Appin in 20:90 beatin Laurie Banner who was the fav for the Melbourne Cup that year, and Goulbourn in 26:58. She broke down at her first start at Wentworth Park. Her Litter all won races on the TAB, a couple won at Wentworth Park. Sheza Lexus was probably the best offspring from Shes A moral Im pretty sure she won the Laddies Braclet at Wentworth Park. The Bloodlines go back to Don's Regret who was a litter sister to the great Flying Amy. The line just keeps on producing.
