Melbourne Cup Pick?

Whats everyone backing for the Melbourne cup?

This favourites unbeatable. Gimme til next Tuesday and I'll let ya know if I stand by that comment. Just got a feeling that Caulfield Cup form is rubbish. Mad Rush made up that much ground in the last 200 that it was insane, but didnt exactly smash the clock. Then you got this horse Barbarricus who couldnt win donkey handicaps at Moonee Valley only a couple of months ago and at the 200 he was asking to be swamped; went out hard early to get some ground from that wide barrier, led most of the way - but only 2 passed him... Just a theory

A horse a like and always love to put a bet on is zipping. First of all I like the name and seems to be doing a lot better than last year so here's hoping

Efficient has received an injury and wont race in the Melbourne Cup.

Zipping gets the same weight as he had last year (when he ran 4th) and he looks to have improved since. Agreed Claffin, and I reckon hes a must include in trifectas.

Mad Rush for me. Although, for the first time in many years, I have some doubt about the Caulfield Cup form as well.
