Spring Events

Hey. Whats your favourite event of the spring/melbourne cup carnival and why? It will be interesting to see what people who live outside of melbourne or who have never been to any carnival event say.

Gotta love derby day, with all those group 1's. One of the best days of racing in the world for sure.

Personally I love Stakes day. You see a few good races and theres not a ridiculous amount of people there (thers usually more kids anyway) and theres still that terrific atmosphere.

For watching i enjoy the Melbourne cup or Caulfield cup both are great days of racing.
