Saturday May 9 - BTC Cup Day
 

I am excited as the Brisbane Winter Carnival kicks off this week with the Group 1 BTC Cup at Doomben. The support races are also very good and here’s a few of my selections for Saturday’s racing.

Brisbane
R1 - Sir Kingsford will need luck but is an eachway chance
R3 - Hodges Street should get an easy lead and be tough to run down
R4 - Bob And Dolly will appreciate the extra distance here and is worth an eachway ticket
R5 - Rabbuka should sit off the pace and be too good for these
R6 - Bauble hits the line well and improve here with a firmer track
R7 - The Grp 1 BTC Cup looks to be a race between Swiss Ace and Apache Cat, I will lean towards Swiss Ace leading them a merry dance. I do like Absolut Glam eachway also
R8 - She’s In The Guide looks to be in for a good carnival and should beat these

Melbourne
R4 - Cats Whisker looks a class above these
R5 - Miss Badoura should get the run of the race and be tough to beat
R7 - Ravishing Reward is getting closer to a win and Tresor finished her race off strongly last start and is a good chance at nice odds
