Lucky I didnt bet yesterday because I had cricket and I don't bet on races that I cant watch, because I dont think I would have done that well, although when I put my tips in on the forum I dont do the form or anything.. Wouldnt have had a bet anyway though, there was just too many wide open races - especially the cup. What happens now with my score from the tips????

I think I should get extra points (beyond the 8) for being the only person in the comp to pick the winner of the Caulfield Cup (surprised myself)?:eek: Pity I didn't put any legal tender on the horse :(

Would have been happy with the trifecta or even the quinella.

I reckon if I took trifectas I would have had the 1st two in a couple, but definately not that third placed donkey barbaricus, what a run that was. Everyone who knows their racing well would have known that barbaricus would have been one of the ones who would look the winner as they straightened but I (like most I'm sure) never thought he could stay on for a placing.
