Spring Carnival Tipping Competition

Race Events & Dates

Saturday 18th October - Caulfield - Caulfield Cup
Saturday 25th October - Moonee Valley - Tattersall's Cox Plate
Saturday 1st November - Flemington - AAMI Victorian Derby
Tuesday 4th November - Flemington - Emirates Melbourne Cup
Thursday 6th November - Flemington - Crown Oaks
Saturday 8th November - Flemington - Emirates Stakes

This is how the tipping will work.
There will be 4 types of tipping comps these are.
1. Each event will be a separate tipping competition as normal.
2. There will be a Spring Carnival Tipping Competition where all your tips over the 2 months will be added up and the highest at the end (Emirates Stakes) Will be the winner.
3. There will be a Flemington Tipping Competition where the individual's Tips will be added up over the 4 Flemington Meetings. (Vic Derby, Melb Cup, Oaks, Emirates Stakes) The winner will be the person with the highest points out of those 4 Meetings.
4. The last comp is a feature race comp where only your points from each feature race is counted. The person with most points after he final feature race will win.

I'll have a run, sounds good.

So there will be an individual meet winner, a Melbourne Cup Carnival winner and an overall winner. Seeing I came up with the idea of this comp how many bonus points do I get? :P

I added another type of tipping comp :)

Hopefully we get a few people entering in the competition.

how do you enter the horse tipping competition?

The comp will be released closer to the meets but check back on the forums and you will find more details.

Yeah well I'd imagine this is going to be a pretty major comp and that a lot of people would be interested and looking forward to it.. so I'm sure you'll hear more about it. Just keep in mind that the first leg of the comp is on OCTOBER 11th.

By the way is there going to be any prizes at all for this comp?
