Penrith R3...Red Cruiser....Class drop for him and all its racing recently around some decent 3 yr olds at HP and racing from bad draws/unfav runs in transit.Gets all the favours tonite.B Fighter the obvious for Quin
Penrith R4...Cover up/Toumitou...Cover up aided by a smart drive got the money last week...Time was not flash/still ok for this and Toumitou off a 3 pegs fence run finished off Ok in other heat to J Lane who has been scr in this.A clear run can see it go close in this. Cheers |

Hard act to follow on last nites results ....but here goes
Bendigo R7...Boorhaman/Benucci Quinella...you wont get rich but this looks deadset....play follow the leader (Boorhaman)..with Benucci to get suck run..Boorhaman noted f/r had no luck last start and Benucci won off sat parked run...exactas..duets...to get better Div. Harold P R8...Kiewa Valley....has found legs in last 3 starts and last win was good off a sit off pace then sprinted hard straight...can repeat. Harold P R6...Promises Kept...Drawn to get this after racing against better class horses with fav D of Life draw the stands...but that looks the obvious Quinella...exacta...duet chance Roughie of the nite......Britagne...was run short last week off no luck runs previous...follow for future. Mooney V...R2 love my fella...if steps ok can back up from last win where was labouring on turn but found the gears to mow them down.
R3 J Jazzalong.....Runs to the front...hard to beat M V jays fella should trail him...looks the quin R4...Megasam...if can get the 3 wide trail up can down these as is a handy type on the back of easy win last start. R6...Mister Swinger...A top horse targeting the big races end of month...can deal to this field with a reasonable run. R7...Deltas Dream...Fantastic 4th last start 3wide nocover run from the back.Should have dropped dead on turn but kept turnin it up to finish just behind them when run told the last bit.A soft run it will just win IMO. Harold P R5....Quin..Pin/Panorama Swing....Strong f/Lines around P Swing and in great form....Pin from this draw to run the quin after a strong win 2 starts back
Harold Park..r3...Prince Benji...Just looks to good 4 these on the back of sat the breeze and still won.....Comet Prince ..Showing glimpse of form that show it rack them up before its spell and last start ran against better horses than these...take him 4 the Quin. Gloucester P ..R8...Tee Pee Village...Gets a good draw and can capitilize on it after better than it reads formline...has been dogged by unfav runs or bad luck. Cheers |
Oh Burning Love, you are good, Tee Pee Village at Gloucester Park. $7.10 in NSW. If only I had been at a club or similar, I would have invested. You got another one up early (at HP) but in the "red" I believe. Keep up the good work and keep on providing the comments against your tips. Anyway well done!

Albion P R1...Cashmere spirit...Tricky from the draw but needs only to get taken into the race at start or wait 4 the 3 wide train /trail run to stay close to leaders to beat this field.
Albion P R4..Hal Thomas..Always used up to get in striking spot but usually give the leaders a start...but runs on strong...It will get all the favours soon...maybe tonite. Albion P R9 Blair John...very even field but can take adv of this better draw and lead...that might be enough as inside runners formlines suspect. Newcastle R3...Tashas Boy...formlines look ordinary...most of which unfav runs or poor driving like last week.A bolter really but a price for the place. Cheers |

Quin r4 Walton Van...looks 4 the trail..sprints hard off that type of run/M Grizzy ..will set it up 4 WV..as is noted f/runner. Newcastle r5..Go Boom..can take up a forward position from draw?may lead and down on class from who it meet last start. Albion p..R1..Top Shelf Hanover...the 2 row draw may not be enough to keep this from winning on back off strong wins here. Cheers and good punting |

Hi all hope I can tip yah into some winners.............
Gone too gloucester P mainly cause we might find some value and have gone with some Quaddies....race 4 1st leg 1st leg....3/9/12....Dont get any tougher than this...formlines dont read well so aint confident here though Sosa throws in the odd good run...watch the tote for lead 2nd leg...4/11/12...The 12 has no luck..with the suck run..over the top of these 3rd leg....1/5/11..the 11 dominates here..but if meets with bad luck...1 the bolter and 5 as formlines around it sound. 4th leg...11/12.....both genuine cup horses...Power of Tara...on song ATM and heading to Hunter Cup Feb where odds been slashed in from 40s to 16s on the strength of fine form. My best..Power of Tara... Best long shot...Class mate for good place odds. Good Luck all |

Maitland...r4...The Maelstrom...Only needs to lead...to make hard 4 the rest...
Maitland r5...Tashas Boy...gets a good draw...racin style is go back form mid row draws....Key is the driver and if he puts it in the right spot....the obvious pick 4 Quin is FAV 6. Maitland...Staminator...A Grad Final this with heats done last week...Was good if not better than other heat winners....the key though is the draw as its a F/runner...that might be enough to get this... .................these races are Quaddie legs and 4 the 4 th leg...1 and the 4... Mooney Valley r4 running Dbl Jacka Clive/Barachias....Broadway Play.. J/Clive...on its game ATM/Barachias..a grinder and if cut throat speed... too upset J/Clive............ r5...Broadway Play...awesome last week...and untroubled to win...they have there work cut out to beat it. r8...Tear it all away...might be one short but follow with confidance..can beat Fav 5 if its up too full fitness. Albion park...r1....Destros will lead early and if hands up too T Skipper theres your quin. Albion P r2...Beef City Beau...only wants the 1 horse to lead and take him to the turn...and to find the PASSING LANE. Globe Derby...if Gotta Go cullen leads or trails it wins.... Good Luck |

Gloucester park...most of my attention is here tonite as its Group 1 racing out West....
R7...Power Of Tara...the lead here is the draw...looks too good for these..and as for the Fav Divisive...I can not have as it could not roll off P/Of/Taras back last week and beat it...and its drawn the 2nd row.That makes my tip look like a genuine Grand Circuit performer which in turn makes the others look out of there class IMO.as mentioned last week this horse is Hunter Cup bound and on fixed odds has shortened from 35+ into 16s before last weeks run and now into 10s.The 10 will get its back and get sucked along for the quin but really it looks all the 1 R6...Tee Pee Village/Lively Royce...quin..with tee pee village just out on top..Drops in class for this as could not get a start in Cup Field.Can hold the lead and that be all it needs. Echca R6....Stand start which is always a worry but if Barachaias steps clean can beat what looks like an average bunch to me and it can roll and stay in its races which says alot compared to some of these. Harold P...R4 Merywood Prince...blew start and its chances last week at the start...but boxed on 4 a good 4th...Needs speed on up front though as races best that way but can upset when the others are gassed out coming to the run 4 home. Last week...
Barachias 2nd 4.0 Merrywood prince 2nd 3.2 others unplaced Tonites tips.....Type bets...E/W..R/Doubles..Quinella..Parlay if u can get yah head around the formulas used...for selections at Gloucester Park... Race 2....Fox Street...Stacks of speed from those drawn inside the 4...this may suit F/Street as the fav 4 will be made to work to find lead.Wants fast sectionals early to put it right in this race.T/To/Me Courage the clear standout and probably deserves to start odds on. Race 3...Pablito...Finds the lead and lookin for a soft quarter somewhere in run....thats enough to beat this lot..as ran 2nd to a good one last week. Race 4...Indian Giver...very good last week....indicated it by how far back to 3rd and field...margin.7/8 lenghths or more.... it was able to break the field apart...always a sign of a good horse..leads and wins Race 5..Might Shogun...apart from horses 8/12..is the only one that has Genuine raceform...say no more.... Race 7...Fleur de Lil...beaten only by its race position last week..1/1 on turn with the winner and r/ups 3/4 wide and at full steam...around it/makin there runs at the crucial time.H/up for that split sec on turn before clear and just missed the placings.very even field with 6 and 7 having v/good formlines for the multis. Race 8...Global force...My best Value for the nite..did all the tough stuff..3/wide no cover to race to the leaders lap out...1st and 2nd horses got the suck run on his back...and just got beat..the winner L/Royce is in main race is no slug and deserves its chance in the main race ....That formline looks good for this race...Mcrae Mate 2nd pick and if you want quaddie selections for race 6....6/9 and ten have all the R/form AND Harold Park R1 swift Stepper..unluck/no clear running last start...S william the obvious Quinella R3 Virage..looks close to best..needs to get the start right as is F/runner with Im Wally for the Quin R8..Hava Bonvoyage plays the leader...Beach fighter the trailer...thats the Quinella... Been on holidays but back with some to follow tonite at the trots.
Mooney V R1....Miss Laura Jane....Gets the favours this draw....Dissapointed if it dont salute the judge ahead of the rest. Harold P R4...Hey Rock/Boris Badenov...Pick themselves...H/Rock needs only the front and soft quarters to finish on top...otherwise B/Badenov will simply outstayif run too suit and outside the leaders wheel if genuine speed..top quin pick the nite at 3s or better. Glouscester P R5...Formula One...If driven cold with 3 wide trail into the race near the turn...will outsprint them.3rd last week after poor drive...same driver makes for value price. Cheers |

Harold P r4 Jasperthat/Extreme Stature...Value off good runs last week from race positions impossible to win from...follow... R5...Ascana....Roughie of the nite....Excellent run from well back last Sunday and from a hopeless position/and checked in straight...just needs luck. Gloucester P R6 Jacka Tanna...used up last week and was outstayed at the finish...A softer run could get past these at value. Cheers |

Last week only winner was Royal Don at 1.8
Harold Park r8 Extreme Stature....Ready to salute again...should outclass these. Gloucester P r4 Mister hannible....left to be run down from bad draw but toughed it out and got up last week...cant see why it cant repeat from a good draw and softer run. Gloucester P r5..Formula one...climbing over them/no room straight...needs the carry into run to close over the top of them. gloucester P r5...Im the mighty quinn....best horse in the state at moment...his chance to prove that claim tonite...looks a special. Gloucester P r6...Asbo....from the preludes heat this was the best run of the lot..as made the play/no cover 3 wide the trip...run down shadows of post by David Hercules who had its back....reverse the runs and it would have been a diff result.Draw close to the rail this time makes this a huge threat....Parsons Dragon was also very good but IMO in the weaker heat... Last week...Im/the/M.Quin and Parsons Dragon winners ai 1.8 and 5.0 others diapointing.
Tonites Tips...Tabcorp Mel R5...Still getting a line on this track as the bigger track means for better racing and not the usual follow the leader mentality trots are associated with...winners can come from further back with good run on on the sweeping bend....but in saying that Cullens Consort looks well placed here off a to the lead form wide draw/lead/won last start...has upside to it by the looks. R6...Village Pungee..last win impressive.....But the upside is note the driver..B.Mangos from NZ.I suspect its under offer subject to the Run.Needs to win and win good to make the trip worthwhile.Walberon dragged back by camel it was following last week...has gate speed to trail a leader for the quinella. Harold P R4..Takim/Maffioso...Topliners the latter proven..Deadset quinella. Harold P R6..Smooth hayley a leader can take advantage of draw..Bara Ingrid sweetseats and if the breaks come in straight will finish strong.Its last run better than it looked as following camels but still had good run on.good quin hopes. harold P Our first fantasy...goes extra good this does..won like it was going places last start...just needs a spot off the leaders.to run over the top of these I think. Harold Park..Im The Mighty Quinn....just top class W.A pacer...with a leg over these and maybe my current tip for Chariots of Fire final. and Virage in the minor race off good 2nd to Maffiosa looks well placed. Tabcorp Mel R1...ambroosky.....outstayed opposition last start..looks well up this at 5s or better. Cheers |

Tonite...Tabcorp R1...Ambroosky....good runs off sprint journeys which doesnt suit its race style.More suitable tonite...salutes the judge with suitable run.
R7...Final off heats last week saw impressive runs from Captain Kalahari/Real smooth Lombo who is my pick given the 2 draw.Lot to like about its win....also Swift cullen to make for ok trifecta. Gold Coast r2...Guitarzan...way down in grade from racing against top co in the chariots of Fire.The draw means youll get a good price. Harold P r1...Paleface Jasper to upset and r4 Virage will again be at False odds off unsuitable runs in transit last 2. Cheers |

Terrific must see racing tonite at Tabcorp melton/Semi Finals 2/3 yr old heats and makes for great viewing given the horses on show as there the best Oz/Kiwis have on offer so i will have a crack at the heats.
R1 Lady Belladona...just wins..won under hold ....take the shorts from its draw.. R2..Zenstar..only kiwi who drawn decent tonite with top Oz lady Euthenia draw s/r sogo the Zenstar off 1.55 m/r win. R3Captain Joy...and Stagehorn Flat for the exacta/quin..the former is v/good. R4 Bonivista Bay could be the best 3 yr old in the country...wins R6 Chariot King/Smiling Shard....Quin here the later looks extra good ... R7 Lanecrost...too hold out top kiwi Smiling Shard last week was a top effort and Its My Pleasure very good to Chariot King off no luck running. Note these semis are made to order for the Favs if they draw well as the whole point is to qualify for finals without a gutbuster which means they will be given there runs and the rest will try to slipstream in order to just qualify....no fancy odds tonite. I think ???? Burning Love means that the others, that is, the main chances to beat the respective favourites, will not take them on tonight. Their objectives or more accurately their respective drivers' objectives will be to make sure they qualify for the final, with winning tonight being secondary. For example, if the respective favourite wants to get across to lead, let him do it, "don't risk busting my horses gut keeping him out and risk missing the final". But then again, I possibly don't know what I am talking about, I have missed the point completely and should finish up before I make an even bigger dickhead of myself. I have not been drinking, only tea, the preferred drink for seniors.

Burning Love, when I recently visited Globe Derby trots, I was wishing I had your selections for the night. My wife and I were not overly successful coming out only very slightly in front but it was a good night and I did my best to make the most of the $35 buffet. I don't think I could have had any more desserts but I probably should have had more prawns.
