SOME INTERESTING STATS
1 knocka norris Has spent 9 of his last 10 starts in boxes 5-8 where he had great success. (finished 7th from the only other box - box1) shows good early pace - but from the red ???? 2 cindeen shelby Fell last start - that's not encouraging !! shows good early pace - about the same as Knocka. Good winning s/r from inside boxes. Like all bitches it will be a case of 'on the night'. 3 mantra lad Slow out compared to the 1,2,4 so will find it hard to get into the race. However, just lately he has found his feet over 520-525. Will need luck 4 trew millions Good beginner but I find it hard to compare his sectionals as I'm using WP as my 'yardstick'. He has an excellent s/r from the 3 box but the blue not so good. 5 el galo Flying machine with first sectionals at least 2 lengths faster. Overall beginning ability from all boxes is brilliant. Translated - El Galo - THE Greyhound !! And I agree. Around track record at WP last couple of starts. 6 queen lauryn Off the scene lately due to the 'female thing'. Only moderate beginner but if race fit may find herself running parallel to the inside dogs who may well knock each other out to give her a saloon passage. 7 all caution Poor record from this box and this company is high quality. Will need luck. However, s/r from the 8 box is excellent. 8 one tree hill Poor record from this box and the company is too rich !!! But if they jam may have a chance if Queen Lauryn doesn't grab it first. 9 regal thyme 10 keeko bale __________________ Good Luck & Good Punting |

![]() ![]() Herald Sun 14 Oct ~ ![]() ![]() Face of the 2008 TAB Topgun From grv.org.au 09 October 2008 Champion North Melbourne footballer Brent ‘Booma’ Harvey is the face of the 2008 TAB Topgun. Harvey will be on course for the Group 1 race at The Meadows on October 25 th, a night after he is scheduled to represent Australia in game two of the International Rules series against Ireland in Perth. However, Harvey’s involvement in greyhound racing stems beyond the $100,000 to-the-winner TAB Topgun. He and brother Shane are involved with a couple of greyhounds through Team Bundy Syndication, which is based in NSW. Team Bundy Manager Brad Gully, 29, spoke to GRV about how this evolved… “I live in NSW but I am from South Australia and barrack for North Melbourne. I was whelping down a litter of greyhound pups in December and when the first male pup was born (second of five over all) I named him ‘Booma’ (after Harvey) within a couple of seconds.” “I syndicated ‘Booma’ to a number of Team Bundy members including a guy from Victoria who works around the corner from a pub where some of the North Melbourne players go. One day he bumped into Brent and told him about ‘Booma’ the greyhound pup. Sometime later I got a call from Brent’s brother (former North Melbourne & Essendon footballer) Shane (Harvey), who said that he and Brent were interested in becoming involved in racing some greyhounds. Unfortunately, by this time I had already sold all the shares in ‘Booma’ and felt bad that they couldn’t buy a share in him, so I gave them a share in two other greyhounds free of charge”, Gully said. One of those greyhounds is All About Tators (trained by Con Haagmans), who has had 23 starts in South Australia for 8 wins and 7 placings including 2 wins and a third at Angle Park in three starts since the Harveys got involved with him. The other is Night Vision, who is set to make his debut in a couple of weeks at Casino in NSW. Harvey will be joined by fellow AFL stars such as Josh Fraser, Nick Stevens, Bryce Gibbs, Leigh Montagna and Steve Gilham at The Meadows on Topgun night. Incidentally, a greyhound called Boomer Harvey (not Team Bundy's 10 month old pup) made his debut at Cranbourne recently, running 7th.
