From my understanding he has revolutionized the sport and is one of the best trainers in the world.
I mean apart from stories like this: http://www.racingforum.com.au/genera...-procaine.html http://www.racingforum.com.au/genera...aham-bate.html To me he just seems like a punter that may or may not have gotten away with doping his dogs knowingly, unknowingly or whatever. At the end of the day, its not just him that has been caught. He's been caught and so have thousands of others. Is what hes doing or has done right? No. And there are penalties for that. I see it like other sports and things in the old days, who know how many boxers, cyclists, Olympians and other athletes used to dope back in the early 1900's? and who cares right? If it was hard to get caught or there were no real laws against it, what then? Its a very different issue with GB I know... but still. Look at it from a different perspective, because of him and all the media attention, it may force the sport to become even more regulated and doping to become even harder to get away with. So in a sense one could say it might be a positive thing for the sport in the long run. Is it moral? To most people, no its not. To GB it might be perfectly normal so long as he's getting away with it. At the end of the day, I wouldnt worry too much, especially since you dislike him so much, why waste the energy?
