Big Moose
Big Moose one again today at Devonport. I heard he trialed on friday at wentworth park and went 29.80 first time round the track and they flew him in and then flew him home. He will being running there soon. I reckon this dog is very special.
What do you think? Has anyone seen him run? |
hi morningstain, Wentworth park doesn't trial fridays at all. I don't think he ran 29.80 especially on a trial day due to track always being 3-4 tenths slow roughly. But I am going on what i have seen on trial days myself when I have been trialling my dogs. Before the easter egg series started i was down there trialling maidens for the Group 3 Easter magic maiden and Cool Effort trialled the same day and ran 30.19 first trial of the morning. At the end of day the time might be right if he ran on a racenight. Big moose is very talented dog who will do well wherever he races. regards dougie:)

Quick time for the Meadows. Anything under 30.00 is flying.
With luck should be a great chance |
I Think they are over racing him in Tassie, he should stay in Vic.

Great to see big moose win his heat.
I feel tassie bred dogs are a little underated by the rest of aus, its great to see trainers prepared to travel. looking forward to see his litter brothers later tonight. Akka boy and beejay delight as they tend to be over shadowed by the moose. |
any thoughts on this saturdays heats?

|
Sensational win by Big Moose tonight at Launceston. cheers Dougie :)
|
great run i dont think he can win from the 8. topline doovee a brillant beginer
|
Big Moose really should win this final! Track record holder and drawn the pink, he can't have any excuses!! He seems to make alot of finals but not win them! He's due for a big one and it would be a pity if he dosn't land one on home turf! I agree Doovee will be hard to catch and also watch or Fidel Bale who will be better for last weeks hitout! If Vellocette gets a run then I will lean his way as pound for pound he's the best dog in the field!!
|
great win. the pink didnt suit him and he began beautifully. bout time. well done to all the connections.
|
Well done Moose!!!
