Mainly because I don't have the time to take it to a track two/three times a week for a gallop.

By the way, have pulled out from my last offer to the breeder. Have to fix a few things up in the backyard before getting it.

If anyone reads or hears a well bred bitch under $1000 for sale, drop me a PM or reply in this thread. Also, the seller has to be in VIC for me to purchase it. Broken in dog preferably; That wasn't quite up to City standard.

Have been given a bitch from a friend, it's a B&W Elite State bitch.

What sire would go well with that breed (Elite State)? I was thinking maybe Droopy's Marco, with Larkhill Jo & Spiral Nikita in its lines. But am open to suggestions, have no idea what generally clicks with what. I know a lot of it is based around luck, but educated decisions are also crucial.

Would appreciate a reply (or two)! :)

Some bitches that have never raced, the ones that throw on most likely always had ability. So without racing it or at worst having it broken in you do now know what traits the mum will throw into her mums, in term wont know who to put her to to correct any faults.

Ie if mum was slow out you would find a sire who was fast out.

But without knowing what the mum could do then it makes things harder down the track.
Depends also whether you will have her broken in.
