I recently asked whether anyone knew anything about the Lara 400 and the best times run there. As a matter of possible interest to others I have found out that the fastest 400 ever run there is 22.77 but have no idea who ran or when it was run.

I broke 2 pups in with Marums over Christmas. Alan and Deb were brilliant and the pups ended up being able to do what I sent them there to learn. Hop in a box, jump, chase, and grab the bunny. They were nowhere near fit when they went (I purposely put some extra condition on them) and they were very tired when they finished after 5 weeks.

Neither of them broke 22 seconds during break-in, but after a 4 week rest they went back and did 20.28 and 20.48. Not pushing them yet, but I expect they will get down into the 19's with experience and fitness.

I'm told 19.70 is about where you need to be to win races.

Track there is very safe and the staff are fantastic.
All my pups will go there in future.
