Any tips?

pick the one that goes over the line first.

Really the best tip is to only bet where you are confident and if it means one tip per meet well that is how it has to be.

If only I could follow my own advice :P

Don't let anybody talk you out of backing something you have picked.

never bet what you can not afford

Don't try and win back what you've lost on the last race, and don't feel reluctant to back a horse/dog just because of his odds... they're just someone else's opinion.

Don't cancel your ticket if you change your mind. How many times does the cancelled ticket get up.

With flexi betting now an option l just find it's better to get 30% of something rather than 50% of nothing.

Also I reckon running doubles are the way to go if you can't decide between 2 horses in a race and if you want a decent chance to win a fair sum - You can have 3 runners in one leg and 2 in another leg of your running double and it will cost you $6 for the 100% dividend. Pretty good i think for people like me who don't like to bet much but like get back something pretty good... As we all do of course!

Thats a good idea might have to try that next time.

Agreed 30% of something is better than 50% of nothing. :)

Manage your money and think long term if you are betting to make a profit.

Keep track of every single bet placed.

Know when to start betting and when to stop.

Don't assume less bets is best.

Have a staking plan.

Most important.

Have fun.
