Squib races

Why do we have so many horse races over 100, 1050 & even 925m.
When I first started betting these short races were for early two year olds. The TAB wants as many short races as possible to increase revenue, like the pokies. Tell the race clubs to scrap these scampers & make 1200m the minimum distance to make them a better punting proposition.
