hi all,
just wondering why sometimes when i back a greyhound for a place and it comes in 3rd it doesn't pay?

i have searched long and hard but cant find an answer,

well mikki if at scratching time for the greyhounds there are 7 or less starters there will be ntd =no third divident 5 or less is only win and place on winner but if there is a late scratching in a race and the field is reduced to 7 then they will pay third place hope its helped you cheers chub.
