Lots of "shorties" tonight at Albion Park tonight but some great racing with such great dogs. Sorry to see that Queen Lauryn is not in - can't see her anyway. I am wondering whether her "seasonal" circumstance has caught up with her. I am probably just out of touch and everybody else knows the answer.
The Hawkins 710 4 x dog race looks very interesting. If he is right then you would expect Chinatown to win but the last time I saw him race, he was awful. Shane W seems to have a strangle hold on the race but I think that this is the race won by Sky Hazzard back in 2007 when he was a distinct outsider, only gaining an invitation when Flashing Floods was not able to take her place. Nevertheless, Chinatown and the Zorro look good for the Quinella, real good but short. I will be spending a bit of time at the Club tonight. Hopefully the "mad punter/alcoh" from last week will not want to start buying me drinks - I declined last week. He is betting "blind" in more ways than one, let me tell you.
