INCIDENTS SLICK LEE (8) was slow to begin. BEWARE (3) hampered FANCY JEWEL (1) at
the first turn. FANCY JEWEL (1) hampered YOUR SIGNATURE (5) approaching
the turn in to the home straight on the first occasion. FANCY JEWEL (1)
hampered YOUR SIGNATURE (5) at the turn in to the home straight on the first
occasion. FANCY JEWEL (1) hampered YOUR SIGNATURE (5) at the turn out of
the home straight on the first occasion causing YOUR SIGNATURE (5) to lose
ground hampering SLICK LEE (8) and ALTARIO (4). SLICK LEE (8) checked
YOUR SIGNATURE (5) at the turn in to the back straight. SLICK LEE (8)
hampered YOUR SIGNATURE (5) in the back straight and again at the turn out of
the back straight. YOUR SIGNATURE (5), SLICK LEE (8), ALTARIO (4) and
FANCY JEWEL (1) collided at the home turn.
A Veterinary examination of YOUR SIGNATURE (5) revealed an injured Nearside
Chest and Offside Shoulder. An Incapacitation Certificate was issued for a period
of 10 days commencing 9/10/10 and concluding 18/10/10.
A Veterinary examination of SLICK LEE (8) revealed No Injury.
Stewards interviewed connections of SLICK LEE (8) regarding the greyhounds
actions passing the catching pen and in the home straight. After viewing the video
replay of this event Stewards advised connections that they believe the
greyhound had turned its head inwardly in the home straight towards YOUR
SIGNATURE (8). Connections agreed with Stewards but argued that the
greyhound is a mad railer and was merely looking to see if had cleared to
greyhound on its inside before crossing to the rails. After consideration Stewards
were adamant that the greyhound SLICK LEE (8) had turned its head inwardly
towards YOUR SIGNATURE (5) in the home straight but had failed to make head
or muzzle contact and subsequently decided to take no further action against the
greyhound other than to advise connections that the greyhounds performances
will be closely monitored.

SWABS TAKEN The first four placegetters of this event BEWARE (3), HOCKEY FAN (2), EBONY
DEVIL (7) and ALTARIO (4) respectively were locked away for Urine Samples to
be obtained later in the evening at the Direction of Stewards.

INCIDENTS NANA COOK (2) jumped smartly and led all way. BLUE LORIAN (1) and
RUNNIN’ BARE (3) were slow to begin. HITMAN SANDOW (8) raced wide at the
turn out of the home straight on the first occasion. BLUE LORIAN (1) and BOOT
STRINGS (7) came together at the home turn.
A Veterinary examination of HITMAN SANDOW (8) revealed No Injury.
Stewards interviewed the connections of NANA COOK (2) regarding the
greyhounds performance this evening. After viewing the video replay connections
informed Stewards that whilst he was surprised at the winning time this evening
he did express to Stewards that the greyhound had trialled very fast here recently.
Connections further informed Stewards that they had changed their training
regime with the greyhound this week in an attempt to freshen the greyhound and
get it to begin better. After considerations Stewards directed that the greyhound
be locked away for a Urine Sample to be obtained later in the night due to
Improved Performance.

be obtained later in the evening due to Improved Performance.
The second, third and forth placegetters of this event BLUE LORIAN (1), JARVIS
BALE (4) and BOOT STRINGS (7) respectively were locked away for Urine
Samples to be obtained later in the evening at the Direction of Stewards.
