Default Sore Wrist.

Hi guys, Only new too the forum so "Hello".

I have this topic on another site, yet with no real helpful replies so i thought i would ask here.

I have a dog, only 11 starts with a few wins and placings. Yet in recent times has come up with sorenes in his offside wrist.

My checker, local too londonderry who everybody uses has advised me this is normal. Due too the fact that most strain is on the offside wrist (which i was totally unaware of i assumed it was the onside), but he explained the funadmentals off accelleration and corners too me and why the offside wrist sustained more pressue. Yet too put my querie simple. He said, just give the dog 2 fish oil tablets a day, Blistre it with odzon 3 days straight before a race and if soreness continues, than continue the same process for the next week.

I did, the dog has raced well (last 4 starts for a win, a fall and 2 3rds) yet the last week his soreness is worse than ever. I've scratched him from this weekend, and i am going to quakers hill vet for x-rays early next week too get a second opinion.

I just want too know is soreness too the offside wrist a comment complaint for racing greyhounds. Also is the advice given too me by my muscle man, the correct process or have i made a mistake along the lines.

Just curios as too peoples opinions or experience with the matter.

Kind regards

Mr Monkey
