In saying this its also a great thrill to train a dog and a great sport to be involved in!! But don't go into it blind as there is a lot more to it than meets the eye!!
ps You can get a giveaway dog at the track in a heartbeat, your best bet would be to put a notice in the office, just make sure its no a broken down hack!!
Good Luck!!

hi gippy,
thanks for the reply, it does sound like it is a fair bit of work involved with them,
i am only thinking of 1 dog, it is something i dont want to rush into,

you say to put a notice in the office , sorry what is the office ?

i have thought about helping a trainer like you said ,
i am also looking at moving to bendigo next year , i thought that it would be a good place to find someone to learn from,
as here there are no greyhounds at all ,

thanks for the help so far,

regards jason
