If it's Closasole, no wonder pups are still having worms, as I find that Closasole (not just my opinion, my family and friends have also formed the same opinion) doesn't kill the tapeworms, so you would still be having tapeworms surviving the worming process.
I agree, change your brands every so often, Ambex 10 is pretty good, but all other wormers are good too. Twice a year you can worm out with Ivomec as this will flush out tapeworms.
After worming, don't allow the dog/pup to be exercised or gallop about in a paddock. Don't trial the dog for at least a minimum of 3 days after worming.
