This is a very talented dog. His speed he musters in the first 50 or so metres will take him a long way at the top level.
However, I would not read too much into his coming from behind verse that mediocre field and only 5 runners. If he gives FFA dogs a start, I am fairly confident he will have trouble catching them. To me, he gives the illusion that he is a front running speedster only.
Time will tell and if I am wrong so be it. But, saturday night was virtually a qualy trial for him as he had panels on them.
