Winsome Joe has been scratched from this Wednesday night’s Group 3 Bulli Gold Plate Final.

The $2.75 favourite for the $15,000 to the winner final has broken down and will be out of action for six weeks.

Trainer Mark Gatt said yesterday: “He has torn a muscle and is on three legs”.

“I’m shattered because I was rapt in his box seven draw and thought he would definitely improve on his heat time.”
